Smothered by everything I've done,
I fear no man nor wraith nor demon,
Only what I might have become.
I am the witch, I Am the Blood, I am the evil that stalks in the wood,
I am of death, now I am become, I am the goat with one-thousand young.
Now wielding broken chains that bound me,
A testament to lengths we've come,
Bear witness to my fell conception,
Born out of malice, ash, and mud.

Embodying the nightmare, that it now manifests.
Refuse to see the damage, its spines rend through my flesh.
My lifelines chewed and severed, consumed by parasites,
Forcing me into silence, complacent in my plight.
I break, and bleed, I've lived out every fear,
I scream, and plead, it falls on deafened ears,
Deflect, reject, I feel my stomach turn,
Chewed up, spit out, consumed now by The Worm.
No matter what my action, ignored and ridiculed
Allows it to slide and slither, toward open vestibules,
Bear the curse of Cassandra, warning what's coming next,
My throat red, raw, and seething, my body out of breath.

Foraging forgotten wastes at edges of the wood,
Roam beyond the birthing place I've left behind for good.
Exoskeleton is shattering with every step I take,
I revel in my shedding skin, the dawning of the snake.
I am the Broken Vessel,
Long have I ignored,
The cracks that crawl across my skin,
And long to be reforged.
I will restore this vessel,
I will fight tooth and nail,
I will become unbreakable,
The iron flesh prevails.
Sing in me Poseidon, my new form now reveal,
By the anger of Achilles may my body scar and heal,
Just like the crustacean, evolve and now ascend,
The weight I feel upon my back is just my growing wings

I've seen one thousand lifetimes flash and fade before my eyes,
Relinquishing my loosened grasp on the ruins of my life,
Succumbing to the stagnation as I brace myself and dive.
Into the mouth of Azathoth,
I slip through the void,
Strip me of my sinful flesh,
Grant me new life.
The ashes of my future now fall from my fingertips,
Every chance that I've been given sifts like sand between my grip,
I kneel before your crystal throne hoping to find my way,
I plead with you to give me strength, to take my hand, and guide my blade.
Into the mouth of Azathoth,
I slip through the void,
Return me to nothingness,
And let me be destroyed.
